Your tasks:

In this role, you will actively contribute to shaping the European and global energy landscape. You will take over the leadership of business initiatives and follow them through from inception to successful delivery. As part of your day-to-day activities, you will own projects and manage them from scratch, seeing it through from inception to successful delivery

Central aspects of this role require intense internal and external stakeholder management, detailed and accurate project and budget planning, the ability to draw up implementation blueprints, and to be a sparring partner for our internal teams to ensure market fit. In order to do so, you will establish, maintain, and expand relationships both internally and externally with key clients and partners, facilitating effective communication and collaboration across various teams

You understand the differences between leadership and management, converse easily on different hierarchy levels, and have an eye on intercultural aspects of communication. You have good intuition on when to let discussions run its course and when to take the reins. A proven track record in successful project leadership in an international and fast-moving environment will pave the way to your success. You will work closely with internal departments across the whole EEX Group organization in order to expand our natural gas business and support the ramp-up of our hydrogen offerings.

In short, we are looking for a well-rounded business developer who feels at ease handling project administration, conceptual discussions, dialogue, and translation between internal and external stakeholders with a desire to deliver on our roadmap

The business development team of EEX is as international as our business, both in terms of locations and nationality. Whilst we follow a digital-first strategy, we welcome and require travel in Europe from time to time

You bring along:

• 
  Master’s degree in relevant field
  
• 
  At least 10 years work experience: ideally in the field of business development or project management in connection with Energy markets
  
• 
  A history in top-tier management consultancy companies is considered a strong plus
  
• 
  Ability to lead project teams from the top or from within, strong communication skills, can-do spirit, and reliability
  
• 
  High proficiency in English (spoken and written), French and German are considered a plus
