Your mission

As Head of Product-Hardware, you will lead the development and management of our bikesharing hardware products – from the initial concept through product development to successful market launch and beyond. As a key part of our product team, you will discover, define, and deliver innovative hardware solutions that shape the urban mobility of tomorrow. You combine strategic thinking, technical expertise, and a strong customer focus, inspiring your team to achieve success.

• Vision and Strategy: Define long-term hardware vision, set KPIs, and guide overall product direction.
• Product Definition: Translate market insights into clear product requirements and strategic priorities.
• Team Leadership: Lead engineering, design, and manufacturing teams, fostering a culture of innovation.
• Go-to-Market: Develop and execute launch strategies in close collaboration with marketing and sales.
• Optimization: Continuously improve products based on performance metrics and user feedback.
• Collaboration: Align cross-functional teams for seamless product execution and market success
  
  

Your profile

• Completed degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Product Design, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is a plus
• Relevant experience in product management, ideally with a focus on hardware development and innovation
• Deep understanding of hardware development processes, including design, prototyping, manufacturing, and supply chain management.
• Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, combined with a data-driven, user-centric approach
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams
• Strong English skills at C1 level are needed, some German is a plus
• Passion for sustainability, urban planning, and the transformative role of technology in the future of mobility
