- Completed training or studies in the field of hospitality, event management or tourism
- Several years of professional experience in MICE sales, ideally in the event industry in Saxony
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style
- Excellent German and English language skills, both written and spoken
- Confident handling of MS Office and ideally CRM systems (e.g., Opera, Salesforce)
- Support of existing clients and proactive acquisition of new customers in the MICE sector (corporate clients, agencies, event organizers) for our unique event venues
- Preparation of offers and contracts in the corporate segment
- Implementation of various sales strategies (Sales Blitz, telesales, mailings, etc.) to increase MICE revenue
- Coordination of all sales-promoting activities in cooperation with the Convention Sales department, the Sales Managers (Rooms), and our Director of Sales Germany
- Participation in trade fairs and networking events for new customer acquisition
- Conducting market and competitor observations as well as trend analyses
- Preparation of monthly sales reports and customer statistics
- Confident use of IT applications such as Sales Force, Opera, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, PowerBI, Lighthouse and Optix to maximize profit margins
- Organization of customer events and conducting site inspections
- Data maintenance in our PMS systems
- Participation in revenue meetings
