As we continue to expand our business, we are seeking a curious and passionate individual to join our team as of January 2027, as Fullstack Engineer (f/m/d) and drive our business forward.

What Will Your Role Be

As a Fullstack Engineer (f/m/d) in our Merchant Experience team, you’ll help build and evolve the digital products our partners and merchants interact with every day. You’ll work across the entire merchant journey — from the Partner Area, where designers manage their designs and shops, to the sign-up and publishing experience that turns an idea into a live SpreadShop, and the Merchant Area, where SpreadConnect merchants manage integrations with Shopify, TikTok, and other platforms. As a Fullstack Engineer (f/m/d), you’ll take ownership beyond individual UI components or API endpoints. You’ll design and implement features end-to-end, collaborate closely with product and design, and ensure that the experiences you build are reliable, performant, and easy to evolve. Your work directly impacts how merchants use and grow with our platform. You’ll build products that make their day-to-day work easier and help drive our business forward.

What You´ll Do

• Build and evolve merchant-facing product surfaces — sign-up and shop creation flows, shop management, design and product administration, sales statistics
• Build the new publishing journey for shops — from sign-up to a live SpreadShop — and take drop-off out of every step
• Own small to medium features end to end: design the UI, build theKotlin/Spring endpoints behind it, model the data, and ship both together
• Extend our backend services where your features need it — new REST endpointsin the shop and partner services, data model changes with a proper migration, and integrations with external platforms such as Shopify or TikTok on the SpreadConnect side
• Design and consume our REST and GraphQL APIs, and push back when a responseshape makes the frontend's life harder than it needs to be
• Contribute to our cross-team frontend architecture work — shared components,hooks and API clients, and how we render, test and ship our apps
• Keep merchant tooling fast — data-heavy tables, sales statistics and editorsare where perceived performance is won or lost
• Take on larger topics — an epic, a new integration, a new merchant surface —and break them down into something the team can execute: slices, dependencies, open questions, and a first piece worth shipping
• Work in an agile cross-functional team with a product owner, designers and backend engineers, and connect what you build to merchant activation and conversion
  
  

What You´ll Bring

• Solid proficiency in TypeScript and React — component design, hooks, statemanagement, and the performance patterns that keep a growing app fast
• Around three or more years of professional experience building web products, with a track record of features you carried from first ticket to production
• Real CSS craft and experience working inside a design system or shared component library, not just against one
• Experience consuming REST or GraphQL APIs and working with structured, data-heavy responses — product catalogs, variants and attributes bring more complexity than they first appear to
• Working experience in a JVM backend — Kotlin or Java with Spring — and the ability to build a REST endpoint, model the data behind it and write the migration, not just read the code
• A solid grasp of relational databases and SQL, and of what happens to a query when the table stops being small
• Self-direction: you take an under-specified problem, find out what is actually needed, break it into deliverable pieces and drive them to donewithout waiting to be handed tickets
• Testing as a habit rather than an afterthought, and a working relationship with code review
• A keen eye for UI detail — you care about how something feels, not only whether it works
• A product mindset: you ask who benefits from a change before you ask how to build it
• Good communication skills in English
